LOOK AT YOU THE SAME WAY YOUR PET LOOKS AT YOU

LOOK AT YOU THE SAME WAY YOUR PET LOOKS AT YOU

Isn’t it amazing the way our pets look at us? They are so pure and innocent that they only see the good things on us. It doesn’t matter if we wake up with a huge spot on the face, if we fail an exam or the balance of our bank account…they always and only see US!

Remember that what makes you worth it, it is not your appearance, your wage, your fails or your achievements…it is YOU! If you don’t believe me, ask you pet’s eyes and if you don’t have any pets or if your pet is a lizard ask your friend’s pet!

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC?

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC?

When you buy a carpet, do you expect it to fly and to save you from buying the next flight tickets? I tried…but it didn’t work.

This is exactly what many people expect from diets and training programs: MAGIC AND IMMEDIATE RESULTS!
When we are desperate to get results, we get impatient, in many occasion we stop thinking clearly and we want to believe that anything that is labelled as “quick and easy” is our magic solution, but unfortunately it isn’t. So, the next time you think about living a healthier life, getting more active, looking leaner or building muscle bear in mind that:

-What is worthy in this life is never ever given for free, and this is exactly what makes it worthy.

-If getting leaner or building muscle was so easy, everybody would be lean and showing off a muscled body.

-Unrealistic goals will make you feel frustrated, so set short and long term SMART and 100% personalized goals.

-It is better to take your time while building new habits. You are more likely to stick to gradual changes than to radical changes.

-Enjoy every single progress you make. You can progress only when you do a good job!.

-Without mental and physical health, you won’t enjoy life like you should, so try to focus more on being healthy rather than just looking “better”.

ADAPT TO THE UNEXPECTED

ADAPT TO THE UNEXPECTED

Because life brings constant changes…BE PREPARED! Many of the changes that life brings us are unexpected, unwanted and sometimes so drastic that they can leave us in shock, still and unable to move. There are times that we can feel like those changes are like little stones on our way, but other times they look like the Fitz Roy in Argentina.
So, what to do to prepare yourself to the unexpected?

1. TAKE CONTROL OF THE THINGS YOU CAN CONTROL.
For example, you normally workout in the evenings, but now that you can meet your friends, the weather is quite nice and the pubs have reopened, you want to make plans with your friends in the evenings, but at the same time you want to stick to your program…so just wake up earlier and move your workouts to the mornings!

2. ACCEPT THE NEW CIRCUMSTANCES AND ADAPT TO THEM.
Things get more complicated when the unexpected and the unwanted mountains arrive to our lives…so the sooner you accept the new circumstances, stop thinking about how things were before and you start to adapt to your “new life” the better for you!. For example, imagine you have been training hard to run a half marathon for months now and you sprain your ankle…what are you going to do? Of course you are going to feel like s*** until you accept the new situation, but this doesn’t mean you will never be able to run a half marathon, you will just need to postpone it and you will have even more time to prepare yourself for it (just trying to think positive).

So…don’t give up! Sometimes you may fall when you find a stone on your way, but you will get up, continue your way and the next time you find a similar stone you will know how to jump or to go around it! And these stones will help you when you find a huge mountain on your way, to be prepared to climb it!

Have a great afternoon pretty people!
