DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC?

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC?

When you buy a carpet, do you expect it to fly and to save you from buying the next flight tickets? I tried…but it didn’t work.

This is exactly what many people expect from diets and training programs: MAGIC AND IMMEDIATE RESULTS!
When we are desperate to get results, we get impatient, in many occasion we stop thinking clearly and we want to believe that anything that is labelled as “quick and easy” is our magic solution, but unfortunately it isn’t. So, the next time you think about living a healthier life, getting more active, looking leaner or building muscle bear in mind that:

-What is worthy in this life is never ever given for free, and this is exactly what makes it worthy.

-If getting leaner or building muscle was so easy, everybody would be lean and showing off a muscled body.

-Unrealistic goals will make you feel frustrated, so set short and long term SMART and 100% personalized goals.

-It is better to take your time while building new habits. You are more likely to stick to gradual changes than to radical changes.

-Enjoy every single progress you make. You can progress only when you do a good job!.

-Without mental and physical health, you won’t enjoy life like you should, so try to focus more on being healthy rather than just looking “better”.

Body Signals

DO YOU PAY ATTENTION OR DO YOU IGNORE THEM?

Sometimes our body tries to alert us that something inside is wrong, but we don’t listen! Many times we learn to live with these signals and we just pay attention when the problem is too big or irreversible, so it is very important to learn how to listen to our body to avoid further damages.

These signals can alert us from not just physical health issues, but also from mental health issues, from a digestive problem to an eating disorder, from a serious illness to stress. All of them have signals!.
When it comes to physical health issues we normally go to the doctor pretty quickly. But what happens when our body is giving us signals about our mental health? Are we so keen to identify the signals or to seek professional advice?

Unfortunately NO!

So, here is my advice pretty people. Even if you haven’t noticed any signals, take time every week for…

INTROSPECTION

For a self-examination. Analize yourself, your personality, your actions and reactions, your motivations…Pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, your verbal and non verbal communication.

Is everything looking fine? Cool! Continue doing what you are doing!

Is there anything that you feel is not right or that makes you feel uncomfy? Identify what it is, the origin of it and how to stop it or to change it, and if you realise you can’t do it by yourself, ask for help or seek the advice of professionals.

Remember that you are more than just a body, you are a precious human being that deserves to feel good from the inside to the outside!.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!❤️

Who Said After Weekend Guilt?

WHO SAID AFTER WEEKEND GUILT?

I looooooove eating! I think it is one of the most wonderful pleasures in life, do you think the same way?

Not so long ago, I used to feel guilty after the weekends. I used refrain myself from eating things that I loved during weekdays, so I could have a cheat meal during the weekend. The problem was that instead of enjoying a little of each food just in one cheat meal, it looked like my stomach was insatiable! So I ended up eating all sort of food from breakfast to dinner, ruining my week progress!😢
This made me realize that a “cheat meal” was and still is not made for me. I have a healthy and balanced diet everyday, which has place for every kind of food any day.

This doesn’t mean I don’t control myself, I do, remember it is all about balance and if you have a goal in mind like losing fat, grow muscle mass or just maintain your actual shape, you need to control you macros and calories.

Balance eating with no forbidden foods, makes me keep my mental health and enjoy life.

What about you? Do you enjoy eating?
